Module 3 Section 2: Drafting the Dossier Components

Description

Drafting each component of your teaching dossier can be a daunting task, but do not worry! We have organized instructions and best practices to help you tackle one component at a time.

There are two ways you can get started drafting your dossier:

  1. Review the guidelines around compiling one particular component in the dossier, and then start drafting your version for that component, or
  2. Review the guidelines for all of the dossier components and then choose a starting point to begin drafting your version of the components.

This 60-minute self-paced module is part of a four-module series for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows exploring strategies to reflect on their teaching and develop their teaching dossier.

Are you interested in adopting this series into your current and future graduate student and post-doctoral fellow professional development programming? If yes, download the "Institutional Guide" (PDF | DOCX) for programming ideas, embedding instructions, and customization options.

The series was co-developed by five institutional partners: Ryerson (X) University, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, University of Windsor, and Western University. This project is made possible with funding by the Government of Ontario and through eCampusOntario’s support of the Virtual Learning Strategy.
