Module 3 Section 1: Teaching Dossier Components and Alignment

Description

In the first section of the module, we will explore an overview of what goes into a teaching dossier, which will help you envision how you can potentially build your own. We will:

  • examine common teaching dossier components;
  • consider when teaching dossiers are needed; and
  • investigate how to align the teaching dossier components with the STP.

This 60-minute self-paced module is part of a four-module series for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows exploring strategies to reflect on their teaching and develop their teaching dossier.

Are you interested in adopting this series into your current and future graduate student and post-doctoral fellow professional development programming? If yes, download the "Institutional Guide" (PDF | DOCX) for programming ideas, embedding instructions, and customization options.

The series was co-developed by five institutional partners: Ryerson (X) University, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, University of Windsor, and Western University. This project is made possible with funding by the Government of Ontario and through eCampusOntario’s support of the Virtual Learning Strategy.
