  On your own, you will find an article that either<\/em><\/strong> supports or opposes the position of the textbook article. This must be an academic-level<\/em><\/strong> article, and should be of the same approximate length as your textbook article.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

  You will use the CRAAP Test to assess the reliability of the article you find, and you will submit your assessment using the CRAAP Test worksheet. This worksheet can be found in the final cumulative assessment folder. You will also submit a copy of your found article.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t

  On Friday, Aug. 15th, during regular class time, students will meet in small groups for approximately 30 minutes\/group. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

  Each student will have up to 2 minutes<\/span> to summarize their researched article <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
  \n\t
  At 2 minutes, you will be stopped, so practice what you want to say with a timer.<\/span><\/span>\n\n\t

  \n\t\t
  \n\t\t\t
  You may use notes to help you with your presentation, but you are expected to be familiar with your content.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t\t\t
  You may not use any supporting materials such as power points, pictures, etc. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t
  Students may take notes while they listen.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\t<\/ul>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
  The remaining time will be used to discuss the ideas and make connections:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
