When you register with <\/span>ORCiD <\/span><\/a>it will provide you a number that acts as a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher (with the same or similar name). That number is your ORCiD ID. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

The ORCiD registry has a high percentage of scholars from the Arts and Humanities and it allows for performances and creative works to be included. Records from the MLA can be easily imported into ORCiD<\/li>\n\t
