Find a 3-5 minute ENGLISH song that you would like to learn to sing. You will find examples of how to learn to sing English songs in the test folder, and you may use one of these or choose a different song entirely. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
You can use <\/span><\/span>www.lyricstraining.com<\/span><\/span><\/a> to help you with lyrics and to be able to replay songs again and again.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
Your video must be one continuous recording; you may not stop and start the video. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n
When you record your video, your mouth must be seen clearly. Sing your song with your song playing quietly in the background. (Please see the example posted on Flipgrid.)<\/p>\n\n
After you have completed your recording and taken a selfie, include your first name, last name, title of the song and the link to the song video or lyrics. <\/p>\n\n
Email a copy of the full lyrics to your teacher.<\/p>\n\n

After your teacher has assessed your starting point, you will participate in a pronunciation clinic to learn how to improve different sounds specific to your individual needs. As part of this clinic, your teacher will meet with you to help guide you in the correct mouth\/tongue position needed to produce the sounds you find most difficult. Self-study materials will also be identified for you to use as you practice and improve your speaking.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
Then, over the next few weeks, on your own, you will use these strategies to practice the song or text you chose in part 1. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n
