The checklist tool in DC Connect is a fabulous tool to use within a Flexible or HyFlex course because it can support students in managing their time. This can be used in a number of situations \u2013 supporting task completion, supporting group tasks, highlighting important or required readings<\/p>\n\n

The content tool in DC Connect allows you to build modules and topics. Within these modules and topics, when you create files, you can use the HTM editor. Although many of us know the synchronous power that MS Teams can provide, it is also a valuable collaboration platform. With teams you can build learning pods or groups through private channels. Within these channels you can converse synchronously or asynchronously with students. They can meet within these channels to discuss projects and they can even host their own documents and resources. LockDown Browser is a web browser that locks down the testing environment within DC Connect (learning management system). In class, online testing can sometimes be difficult to invigilate, especially in densely packed or non-traditional classroom spaces. With LockDown Browser, Students are unable to copy, print, access other applications, or visit other websites during an online exam. Quizzes in DC Connect can be configured to utilize this application, thus increasing the integrity of in class, online testing. LockDown Browser is installed in the computer labs.
