Slip, Trip, and Fall Hazards in the Workplace

Description

One of the best examples of injuries in the workplace is slip, trip and fall. Such risks are usually caused by the wet or irregular floor, untidy housekeeping, littered walkways, low light, and ill-fitting shoes. It is critical to understand the role played by these conditions in the loss of balance to avoid injuries. The prevention can be done through ensuring that the floor is clean and dry, floors safe to walk on, proper footwear, and safe work practices. The identification and management of slip, trip, and falls risks will aid in minimizing injuries and relieving a safer workplace.
