This is where it all started! Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, created the Operating System in the 1980s and is considered the most popular OS in the world. However, it wasn\u2019t until Microsoft launched Windows 95 that it changed everything. Windows 95 was the first modern operating system that had an easy-to-use interface and was more consumer based and not just meant for people in the computer industry. Windows 11 is the most current OS. Popular brands that use Windows OS include, Dell, HP (Hewlett Packard), Lenovo, Asus, Acer, Raver, MSI and Microsoft (yes, Microsoft even has their own brand of computers).<\/p>\n\n

Regarded as one of the most successful advertisement companies in the 1990s, this clip shows an excerpt from the launch party where Bill Gates and others danced enthusiastically to Rolling Stones \u201cStart me up\u201d. The reason they chose this song is because Windows 95 was the first of its kind to have a \u201cStart\u201d button, thus making it easy to use. <\/p>\n\n
