Description

Emergencies can happen when we least expect them!

With the "Responder #1" virtual simulation, you will learn how to provide high-quality CPR to a child in need from a team of medical professionals.

You'll then get the opportunity to put your skills to the test in 2 virtual simulation games all from the comfort of your own home or office!  By preparing and practicing, you'll be ready when the game becomes real.  Let's get started together!

Authors

The "Responder #1" virtual simulation game was created by Dr. Samantha Boggs (project lead), Dr. Anna-Theresa Lobos, and Dr. Dayre McNally from the University of Ottawa.  Film production and video editing was supported by graduates from Algonquin College's Television Broadcasting program (Alicia Bedore, Marco González Moreno) with local oversight of the Algonquin team provided by Kevin Holmes (managing director of Algonquin College's Social Innovation Lab).
