Hi! This is the bitmoji for Dr. Danielle Soulliere, Associate Professor and current Associate Dean for the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. I am a University of Windsor alumna (BA, MA) and a graduate of Wayne State University (PhD) who specialized in the study of sociology and criminology. Fans of The X-files<\/em> may recognize this poster as the one Fox Mulder had displayed in his office (I have one in mine too!). It does not represent my obssession or belief in aliens (although I can't rule this out) but, rather, my love of science-fiction. I am definitely a Marvel fan and Captain America is probably my favourite Marvel character, although Thor comes in at a close second. I have a collection of prop replicas including Cap's shield, along with Thor's Hammer and Axe, Black Widow's batons, Tony Stark's EDITH glasses, Okoye's spear, the Eye of Agamotto, and a pair of Wakandan shields. Outside of MCU, I have some props from the television show Supernatural<\/em>, Wonder Woman's shield and sword, Xena's chakram, and Mal's pistol from Firefly<\/em>. One of my favourite symbols is the triskelion. Also known as triskele or triple spiral, the triskelion is an ancient Celtic spiritual marking that dates back to ancient origins in Irish culture. Made up of three joining spirals, the ancient Irish believed that everything happens in batches of three, or \u2018the 3rd times the charm\u2019 \u2013 a belief that still exists today. The spirals are also said to symbolize the inner and outer worlds and the themes of birth, death, and rebirth as well as the unity of mental, physical and spirital self. <\/p>\n\n
